Sercotel Suites Viena Hotel Madrid

Madrid Airport. Unique Iberian Design

Sercotel Suites is a small little hotel and there is nothing Suite about it.
It is located in close proximity to Temple De Debod and not so far from Plaza Espana.

The hotel is good enough for single person and is located in a small by lane.
Bathroom is small .
There is nothing luxurious about it and can be best described as a Budget Hotel.

The Room

Small Room

Smart TV with no International Channel.

Entry Door with small Kitchenette to give a Suite Shape

Tini Mini Bathroom

Location Street : The hotel faces a Portuguese school opposite and no other side view.

Sandwich Restaurant close to The Hotel

Gulbenkian Museum; Lisbon

Gulbenkian an Armenian Oil Magnet spent his last 13 years in Lisbon and had a large collection of around 6000 pieces from  Egypt, Greece, Rome, East Asian and Armenia. He then willed it to his own name foundation. The foundation later opened a museum in his remembrance in the year 1969.

Most artifacts are from 12 th to 18th century.

The first hall shows the 12 th to 18th century Islamic Art as well as Egyptian, Greco Roman , Mesopotamian, and Armenian Pieces. The second hall on Western Art.

Finally a room dedicated to French jewelry and glass work.

Overall good museum, given that is a private collection of an individual and not a State Museum.

Though, I would not recommend taking the Ear Phone at Euro 5, as the commentary is very poor. Better to read the narration on each artifact.

Barcelona : Here I come!

As luck would have had it. My camera failed in Barcelona and most of my pictures got lost. There are very few pics of Bascilia Familia and some more of central square.

The whole lot of pictures of Barcelona Club, Spanish Village, Ropeway, Las Ramblas Flamenco Dancing and many more are gone. Which also means, I will have to travel again to Barcelona sometime soon. Some pictures , which got saved are shared hereunder. God certainly wanted Sagrada  Familia pictures to get saved.

Sagrada Familia is perhaps the slowest ever Church Structure to be Built. Having started in 1882 under the design of "Gaudi", the construction goes on till date. It is expected that it would get over by the year 1926 which is the anniversary of "Gaudi"
The Church has 3 Facades, Nativity, Passion and Glory. Glory facade is still to get completed.
They say, praying here fulfills the major wish of your life. So I prayed three hoping three wishes will be granted
The passion Facade.

Though built as a Cathedral, it is not actually a Cathedral.

Nevertheless, I Got Blessed By Lord Jesus and Yours Truly is Posting Pics Here For U 2 B Blessed.

Interestingly, the best Falafel in the world are served in Barcelona by the Turk Restaurants.
