Red Onions in Raisins and Red Wine Vinegar : Mother's Day Recipe

The recipe is dedicated to my dear mom, who made the yummiest food and the memory never fades.

Red Onions in Raisins and Red Wine Vinegar is a secret recipe and I have saved it specially for this day.

 Onions have special juices in it, which make a person beautiful and when had with wine, then it is zest with zoom.


Recipe is Rather Simple

Red Onions Baby Variety : 499 gms
Red Wine Vinegar : 1 Tea Cup
Castor Sugar : 3 Table Spoon
Olive Oil : 3 Table Spoon
Tomato Puree : 3 Table Spoon
Raisins : 1 Full Cup
Bay Leaf : 1 Patti ( Leaf)
Mint Leaf : Two or Three



Pour 1.5 cup of water in a pan and add all the ingridents in it and put on slow fire.


Allow it to work out for say 40 mins + 


Once the water dries out, remove the Bay Leaf And Mint Leaves 


Serve Hot In your Favorite Dish

Pineapple with Red Chili - Salad!

Pineapple largely goes into cooking with Thai food. Most other cooking , pineapple was a non entrant fruit.

One very nice application of the sweet pineapple is the salad with the pungent chili. The sweet and the hot taste together is like the reflection of your ideal girlfriend, who never existed.

 Mix

Pineapple  small size large sliced
Mint Leaves one bunch
Coriander Leaves some
Red Hot Chilies, fat cut
Lemon 1 no
 Gently Toss All the Above Togather
 Squeeze Lemon on Top and sprinkle Salt and Black Pepper.

 Spread Over A Dish

Aubergine Mit Kartofel/ Aloo Baingan- Yum Yum

Aubergine is French for Baingan and Brinjal is English for Baingan and Egg plant is Asian for Baigan and Be Guun is Indian for Baingan

Be Guun means, without any Guun or property. However, actually Aubergine has many a nice recipes and quite a few delicious ones in Chinese and Indonesian cooking.

The Kartofel Mit Aubergine is an Indian version tweaked for Euro Taste.

Easy to cook, the recipe makes up of

One long egg plant
One Large Potato
One Large Onion
One Medium Tomat
Green chillies hand full
Garlic one shell
Salt to taste
Cummin seeds : One Pinch
Chilli Powder : Full Tea spoon
Turmeric powder : Half tea spoon
Garam Masala : Half Tea spoon.
Olive Oil : 2 to 3 Table spoon


Cube Egg Plant

Rinse the cubed Egg Plant in salted water for say 5 minutes

Half Fry the Aubergine and set it aside


Cut Potato, Onion, Tomat and chillies to size as per next pic.



Meantime cube the Potatoes and half fry it.
 Golden Brown the Onions after cummin seeds splutter. 
Add garlic , green chilli, tomat and get the juices homogenized.
 Add Aubering half fried and Potato half fried to the frying onions.
 Allow it to cook for say 7 to 8 mins on slow fire with occasional stirring
 Continue cooking till potato and aubergine are enough tender
 Add all the spices and allow the spices to develop the flavors say for a 1 or 2 minutes
